A bit about Rockstart
Rockstart, one of Europe's first multi-vertical startup accelerators, was founded in Amsterdam in 2011 with a goal to provide startups with access to capital, market, community, and expertise. Since then Rockstart has become the specialist in building entire ecosystems around specific domains—such as Digital Health and Smart Energy. Rockstart is actively building up entrepreneurial infrastructures around the world with its acceleration verticals, as well as early-stage startup programs, Rockstart Impact and Rockstart Launchtrack. Since the inception, Rockstart has invested in 128 startups across 13 programs and supported them in their journey to raise more than €54 million and hire 600+ people. Rockstart is an international team of 40+ professionals dedicated to support and empower startups to become scalable and change their world for the better.
Within our dynamic startup environment, your focus will be on supporting the management team with their hiring processes and operations as well as ensuring that all personnel administration is always in perfect condition and that Rockstart complies with all labour law regulations. As the HR admin you operate mostly independently, reporting to the Financial Director, but for recruitment you work closely with the management team to make their hiring easy and effective. You also manage our on- and offboarding processes for employees, ensuring they always have access to the right tools and information.

You are kind of that crazy annoying precise person: the one who can’t keep yourself from pointing out an error somewhere (and you’re not sorry for it). When people approach you with a problem, you love to help where you can but you never let others stress you out. Are you kidding? In your book, a problem is just an opportunity to show what you can do and to improve yourself and your systems for the next time. You are a true cheerleader for other people’s success but you are also a critical thinker, towards yourself as well as others. If something is not working somehow, you love to find the problem and proactively fix it. You are all about direct and honest communication lines to get fast results but you like to always end things on a positive note because why work hard if you can’t also have a little fun?
Must have requirements:
Start: May/June 2018.
Availability: 40 hours per week.
Duration: This is a long-term position. We’ll start with a temporary contract.
Remuneration: Based on experience and knowledge.
