AI & Operations Associate

The Role:

About the Role: 

As AI and Operations Associate, you’ll be the backbone of our day-to-day operations and the driver of smarter internal workflows. You’ll work closely with the Chief of Staff to maintain company-wide systems, OKRs and performance tracking, ensuring they’re clear, consistent, and easy to use.

Beyond performance tracking, you’ll play a key role in introducing and maintaining the tools and automations that help our teams work better—while also supporting Rockstart’s office environment, from onboarding colleagues and managing equipment to catering and event logistics.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with the Chief of Staff on OKRs and performance design, maintaining dashboards and keeping systems clear and up to date.

• Leverage AI and automation to improve productivity and decision making

• Build and maintain workflows and automations using tools like Notion, Zapier, Airtable, slack, and CRMs

• Ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding and system adoption across the team, and continuous training of team members on new updates of our tools. 

• Drive the adoption of GenAI use cases across the team. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement projects to boost efficiency across the company

• Manage office operations: supplies, laptops, and support on general internal events and team initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience building and maintaining workflows in modern tooling (Notion, Airtable, Zapier, CRMs, Slack integrations).

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Curious, autonomous, and obsessed with efficiency and tools.

• Data-friendly: able to set up dashboards and reporting pipelines (bonus if comfortable with SQL, APIs, or scripting).

• Strong communicator, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in operations, project management, or a similar role.

• Experience experimenting with AI/GenAI tools to boost workflows.

• Interest in startups, VC, and impact-driven work.

Bonus

• Familiarity with data wrangling or light scripting (Python, SQL).

• Previous experience in VC, tech, or entrepreneurial environments.

Availability: 40 hours per week;

Duration: 7 month initial contract with view to extension

Remuneration includes:
