About the role
We are looking for a Head of Programs to join and strengthen the Rockstart team and our positioning as a top-tier global accelerator-VC operating in Europe and Latin America across Emerging Technologies, AgriFood and Energy.
The Head of Programs will play a central role in ensuring that all the Accelerator and Corporate programs in Europe and Latin America are designed and executed to help the participating startups grow while maximizing value to the accelerator's stakeholders and ensuring operational excellence and Rockstart brand integrity across all the programs.
The Head of Programs will be guiding team members on creating and running tailor made programs to ensure startups growth during and after the programs. This role will be important for ensuring delivery of the value proposition towards the founders we empower, the structure and content of the accelerator- and corporate programs, and the understanding, organizing and optimizing of the Rockstart ecosystem.
Managing the Program, Relations and Events teams across Europe and LATAM (6-8 direct reports);
Being end responsible for the quality of all the accelerator and corporate programs running at Rockstart;
Constantly improving Rockstart accelerator value proposition, program content and structure based on the market developments, Rockstart Funds and startups needs;
Creating and overseeing the timelines and program planning in alignment with company-wide planning;
Structuring and overseeing Rockstart ecosystem consisting of alumni companies, mentors, experts, investors and corporate partners;
Ensuring the collaboration and alignment between all the programs in Europe and LATAM;
Setting up, tracking, and optimizing program performance metrics and reporting them to the stakeholders;
Overseeing the internal and external events at Rockstart;
Facilitate knowledge sharing between and implement best practices and learnings across all the programs and program teams.
You are a strategic thinker with a product management mindset and hands-on mentality. You know what startups need to grow and be successful, you know various methodologies and how to apply them to startups in different domains and growth stages, and you understand how to build and manage different ecosystems. You have experience working directly with founders, understanding their needs and you feel comfortable and energized by the constant changes that startups imply.
You can tackle problems when they occur, bring teams together and give people direction by coaching them at all levels in their careers. You will have at least 7 years of relevant working experience and experience with managing a team. It is a clear advantage if you understand different aspects of building a startup and you’ve learnt it by either building your own venture or you were one of the first employees in a startup that scaled. You could also have been in a senior product or project role in a company related to innovation, venture capital or the startup community in general. We would expect you to have considerable leadership experience and a big passion towards supporting the founders to drive positive change in the world.
Availability: 40 hours per week.
Duration: This is a long-term position starting with a 7 month contract.
Remuneration: Based on experience and knowledge.
