The role

As the Innovation Program Associate you will have the opportunity to be part of a meaningful network of clients, startups, mentors, investors and learn first-hand what it takes to scout the next unicorn startup. You will become part of our extremely talented international team and work in close collaboration with the Corporate Innovation Lead and Ecosystem Director. Learning key skills needed to design programs and events for our ecosystem, while Rockstart’s high level of execution and satisfaction scores. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Innovation Lead in the running of various corporate X startup accelerator programs: being ingrained in the entire process of planning, executing and evaluating Rockstart’s corporate programs.
  • To engage with startups and understand their needs and design tailored programs to accelerate their growth.
  • Engage our vast network of investors, mentors and corporate partners to find meaningful collaboration opportunities.
  • Create evaluation reports, with impact metrics on every program ensuring that we can always improve our support towards each stakeholder.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, meetings for all the people involved in the selection process of the startups for the programs.
  • Team up with the ventures team to support the scouting process, ensuring we scout for the best startups for our client.
  • Team up with our marketing department, to design and execute the marketing campaigns for our corporate programs
  • Work closely with the Events manager, to ensure perfect execution of impactful events.

Requirements

What makes you the perfect candidate?

You have a natural curiosity to learn more about the complexities of the startups, the corporate ecosystems, and a desire to create value. You get a buzz of executing a well organized program or event, ensuring all startups are not only enjoying themselves, but gaining knowledge to enable them to apply learnings directly to their day to day, making their vision a success.

This role will require social and networking skills, testing your ability to understand the clients needs. You are a team player, always have a solution driven attitude, and can work calmly and well under pressure.

You have pride in the quality of your work, and are detail oriented, always trying to make a lasting impact.

Must have requirements:

  • A degree in business administration, innovation, project management, business design, industrial engineering or any related field;
  • You have knowledge and deep interest in startup methodology or corporate innovation;
  • You have 1-2 years of experience in operations, program execution, in either a startup, corporate, or incubator/accelerator program;
  • You are a strong communicator who gains energy from networking and meeting people;
  • You have a proactive, entrepreneurial, results-oriented attitude with an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced organization;
  • You are fluent in English;

Start: ASAP

Availability: 40 hours per week.

Duration: 6 month initial contract, with the intention to renewal long term for the right candidate.
