HR Generalist - Maternity Cover

About the Role:

This is an interim role to cover maternity leave. As interim HR Generalist, you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of Human Resources policies and procedures, supporting on the full range of HR functions, including payroll, employee relations, performance management, and training and development in Denmark, Netherlands and UK.

 Your main responsibilities will be:


  • For the first period (November until January) support the current HR Manager in the below responsibilities & support onboarding to new HR/payroll platform.

  • Administration for the employee’s full employment cycle (including job offer, contracts, changes to terms and conditions of employment, salary increase letters, change role letters, offboarding of leavers, etc.)

  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external HR questions

  • Accurately preparing the monthly payroll input (NL, UK, and Denmark) and supporting in all payroll related queries for the team.

  • Maintain, and update our Employment Policies/handbook and Contracts.

  • Coordinating performance reviews and personal development plans.

  • Own the recruitment process: job descriptions, pipeline management, offers, contracts, communications to team and onboarding.

  • Support managers in effectively managing performance, and with complaints, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, attendance, redundancy, occupational health issues, etc.

About You:
A true team player with an entrepreneurial attitude, an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to focus on several issues without compromising on quality or efficiency. As a person you are dedicated and take pride in owning processes and tasks and work well in a small intimate team.

Must have requirements:

  • 2 + years experience in a similar role

  • A solution-oriented ‘can do’ approach

  • Have a passion for supporting entrepreneurial people and help the team to smoothly achieve their potential

  • Knowledge of NL, DK & UK employment law and its ‘good practice’ application, including contract law.

  • Experience in providing ‘generalist’ HR advice

  • Payroll processing experience.

Start: November 2024

Contract: Temporary or Freelance Agreement 

Availability

  • November 2024 - January 2025 - 1 day per week, handover and support.

  • 27th January 2025 - July 2025 - 3 days per week

Remuneration includes:

  • Competitive market salary based on experience,

  • A budget towards growth and personal development,

  • Location: This role is based in Netherlands, on a Dutch Employment Agreement
