Marketing and Communications Intern

Rockstart is an early-stage investor dedicated to empowering founders to drive positive global change on a global scale. With a global network and offices in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Bogotá, we offer proven fast-track scaling programs and investments for purpose-driven founders operating in Energy, AgriFood, and Emerging Technology.

As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you’ll have the chance to shape and amplify Rockstart’s narrative, showcasing the impact of the founders. This role is ideal for someone passionate about content creation, brand storytelling, and leveraging data-driven insights to craft meaningful messages. You’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing and international teams, gaining hands-on experience in social media strategy, content development, and digital storytelling.

Some possible responsibilities:

• Create engaging blog posts, social media content, newsletters, and multimedia assets that highlight the journeys of purpose-driven founders.

• Shape and execute social media strategies that grow engagement and brand visibility, while keeping an eye on emerging trends.

• Use insights from analytics tools to inform and refine content, ensuring messages resonate with key audiences.

• Support campaign rollouts, event promotion, and key brand initiatives from strategy to execution.

• Work closely with Rockstart’s investment, accelerate, and partnership teams to align content with broader company goals.

• You’re currently a final-year Bachelor’s or Master’s student throughout the internship period.

• You’re passionate about brand storytelling, have a sharp editorial eye, and can create compelling content that drives engagement.

• You’re curious about how metrics shape stories and use analytics to continuously improve your work.

• You’re ready to jump into new challenges, learn fast, and contribute to a fast-paced, international team.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.

Start: Jan 2025

Availability: 40 hours per week;

Duration: 6 months Internship

Remuneration: €600 per month &  Travel

Location: Netherlands hybrid, 2-3 days in our Amsterdam office
